Melbourne Celebrants is operated by Withers XYZ Pty Ltd. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
When you enquire, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, wedding date and location, and the details you choose to share about your plans. We may also receive information you send directly by email or phone.
How we collect it
The enquiry form on this site is hosted by Wedding Computer, the customer relationship management service Josh uses to receive and manage wedding enquiries. The embedded form uses Cloudflare Turnstile for security and bot protection. Information entered into the form is sent directly to Wedding Computer over an encrypted connection.
How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- respond to your enquiry and check availability;
- recommend, quote and provide celebrant or MC services;
- complete wedding planning and legal administration;
- manage our business records; and
- respond to a complaint or legal requirement.
We do not sell personal information.
Disclosure and storage
We may disclose information to suppliers and professional advisers when that is necessary to operate the business or provide the service you requested. Wedding Computer processes enquiry information on our behalf. We may also disclose information when required by law.
Website measurement
This website does not load a third-party analytics or advertising script. Standard server logs may record technical information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time for security and reliability. The embedded enquiry form has its own essential security processing.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or make a privacy complaint by emailing josh@withers.co. We will take the request seriously and respond in a reasonable time.

We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The current version appears here.
